MTV Video Music Awards 2014: Complete List Of Winners @ The VGMA's

The 2014 MTV Video Music Awards were handed out Sunday, August 24, 2014 at the Los Angeles Forum.  The show was host-less, but there were many big stars on hand to take home their moon men.
 

The VMAs kicked off with Beyonce leading the night with eight nominations, including nods for Video of the Year for "Drunk in Love" with her husband Jay Z, Best Female Video for "Partition," and Best Video With a Social Message for "Pretty Hurts." She was also one of the top-billed performers.

Other leading nominees included Eminem, Iggy Azalea, and Katy Perry.

Nicki Minaj's 'Anaconda' Video Breaks Miley Cyrus' 'Wrecking Ball' Vevo Record

It's really sad that there is a saying that states "sex sells" and indeed "sex sells".

Nicki Minaj's ass has already broken a record.

Video hosting service Vevo reports that Minaj's controversial "Anaconda" video has officially broken the record for most views in 24 hours, a record previously held by Miley Cyrus' controversial "Wrecking Ball" video in which she showed the world her naked body. 

Vevo sent out a tweet stating that "Anaconda" was watched 19.6 million times in its first 24 hours:

Cyurs' "Wrecking Ball," which had held the record since its release in September of last year, was viewed 19.3 million times its first day of release. A narrow victory for Minaj, but a victory nonetheless. Our thoughts are with dear Cyrus at this trying time.

This is not the first time Minaj has shattered this particular record: in January 2012, Minaj's "Stupid Hoe" video was watched 4.9 million times in its first 24 hours, and at the time, that was enough to secure her the number one slot. She also featured on Justin Bieber's "Beauty and the Beat," which held the record for a time in 2012.

Of Minaj's 19.6 million views, at least 37 of those belong to Sir Mix-A-Lot, so be sure and send him a thank you note (and, perhaps, a royalties check), Ms. Minaj.

Expect to see "Anaconda" slither up the charts next week thanks to streaming points. The age we live in........

Adios, amigos! Kim Kardashian is leaving Mexico after spending time south of the border on vacation, and with the reality star's departure, also goes her sexy bikini selfies. It only seems like Kim Kardashian is always on vacation. For now, anyway.

Kardashian, 33, said goodbye to Mexico via Instagram on Tuesday, Aug. 19. She posted a stunning photo of herself posing on the edge of a crystal clear infinity pool, surrounded by blue skies, palm trees, and gorgeous views.

Kim wouldn't be Kim if she didn't post a farewell bikini snap. So, the mother-of-one happily obliged, even if she is a little sad to leave the sun and sand behind. The buxom brunette shared this photo on her Instagram account with the caption: "I will miss you."

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians centerpiece showed off her famed curves in the snap, putting her arms above her head as she arched her back and cocked her legs in a red-orange string bikini.

"I will miss you," Kardashian captioned the picture simply, seemingly addressing the entire country of Mexico. 

 

She stayed at Joe Francis' Casa Aramara estate in Punta Mita.It may have been a quick trip for Kanye West's wife, as she posted her first photo from the trip on Monday morning, sharing a scenery shot with the caption, "Good morning Mexico."  

 

Kardashian later posted a shot of herself napping in a bikini with her backside turned toward the camera, one of her jet skiing, and another with her "sexy man" West, 37. This is kind of their second honey moon since they got married and now they are back to their normal lives.
