Kanye West and Kim Kardashian Finally Tie The Knot

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are one of the most talked about celebrities in Hollywood as at now. This is as a result of them tying the knot over the weekend at Forte Di Belvedere in Italy. Kanye West proposed to Kim Kardashian in grand style and when they both announced that they were going to get married, everyone was waiting in anticipation to see how their wedding was going to be. There has been a lot of controversies and rumours surrounding this power couple and they are always splashed on tabloids with diverse stories being reported about them. Hollywood went wild when it was officially announced that Kim and Kanye were dating and not so long came the news about they having their first baby. Kim went through a lot with her pregnancy. The couple welcomed their first baby North West and soon came the news of their wedding.

The wedding was carried out in grande style. Well celebrities do know how to throw their money around. From the hotel lodged for their guests, the menu for the wedding and even the location. It has been reported that Rob Kardashian, brother of Kim refused to attend the wedding because he is battling with weight issues and blames his family for not paying much attention to him. these reports haven't been proven true but it is indeed correct that he did not attend the wedding. The wedding also saw a lot of celebrities running through and making the wedding ceremony a beautiful one. Kim and Kanye have not had an easy ride in their relationship with wild rumours been spread about them and the negativity surrounding her husband Kanye West.

In all they have had a good year.Their controversial cover and spread on Vogue sold 500,000 copies and beat both Beyounce and Michelle Obama's cover. The two of them seem to be so much in love as they have shared with the world pictures of the two of them together. Kanye did a music video with Kim for this "Bound Two" song which got a lot of people talking and saw various parodies made by their fans. It was also a big issue about the brand Kim would wear for her wedding gown and people were dying to see what and who she wore. Well that has been solved now. She wore a givenchy gown and E! has released a few of the pics; more is yet to come. The wedding was a spectacular event.From her pre-wedding dinner to the main event, no stones were left unturned to make the wedding a true celebrity wedding.

facebook and entertainment websites have gone viral with this events and a couple of pictures have been thrown around. Kim Kardashian has added "West" to all her social media accounts and at the moment she and her husband are on honeymoon in Ireland and they are having quite a lot of fun, storming theatres and doing fun things. This is Kim's third marraige. Her second marraige to Chris Humphries an NBA star ended in a really terrible way that got a lot of people talking. She signed for a divorce after seventy two days of marraige. Several news outlets surmised that Kardashian's marriage to Humphries was merely a publicity stunt to promote the Kardashian family's brand and their subsequent television ventures. These allegations haven't been proven true though her sudden retreat out of the marriage after 72 days really is something to reckon with. Goodluck to the happy newly wedded couple and I do hope that another Chris Humphries and Kim Kardashian divorce doesn't repeat itself again. Will Overexaggerating Ever Stop In The Ghanaian Media!!!

I came across a story posted on one of the popular radio websites in Ghana and after reading the story I must say, I was very disapointed. The story was captioned "Joselyn Dumas No Panties Photoshoot". This story caught my attention and I immediately went ahead to read the story and see the supposed "No Panties" photoshot. I could not believe my eyes after seeing the pictures because the caption for the story was false and the writer of the story shouldn't have given the story that headline. It was out of line and it is my believe that the writer or the website can even be sued for this kind of false allegation if the actress decides to make it personal. This picture talked about is a photoshoot Joselyn Dumas did for Issue 20 of New African Woman Magazine a year ago.

When you look at the picture closely, you would realize that she is wearing panties and not as this website claims. She is wearing a "High G-string Pant". It can be argued that the writer wanted his/her story to be read and used that caption but he/she could have headlined as "Joselyn Dumas Shows A Lot Of Skin In A Sexy Photoshoot", "Joselyn Dumas Takes A Fashion Risk In A Photoshoot" or a lot more that would get the attention of people rather than going out of line and twisting the actual thing in a different way. Joselyn Dumas is one of the popular and hottest celebrities in Ghana now and I don't think much effort has to be taken to get people to read about her. The woman herself can get the job done without anyone actually going out of the loop to turn the attention of people towards her. (she is hot). She's all over tabloids and the on going rumour now is that she is dating John Dumelo a fellow actor. It has not been proven by any of them though that this rumour is true.They just starred in a recent movie entitled "Love Or Something Like That" which was produced by Joselyn Dumas along side Shirley Frimpong Manso.

Fans of Joselyn Dumas have given missed feelings about this "No Panties Photoshoot Pictures". Some disagree with the dress she put on for the photoshoot and others see nothing wrong with it. I don't want to be misunderstood that I am either condoning or condeming the dress she put on for the photoshoot. In all, I'm just saying that journalists should find a more healthier and creative way in selling their stories instead of using false captions and lies and splashing false rumours about celebrities just to attract the attention of the audience. There is more to journalism than that and a stop must be put to it.

President Mahama's Farewell and Send Off Dinner For The Blackstars

President John Mahama hosted a dinner gala on May 22, 2014 at the state house Accra to send off the senior national team Ghana Black Stars in preparations geared towards the 2014 World Cup. The President in his speech assured the footballers that Ghana would rally behind them , and tasked them to make the country and Africa proud at the tournament. The President also mentioned the budget that was set aside to manage the blackstars on their journey.The event was attended by 24 out of the 26 previously announced squad. On Saturday May 24, the team headed to Netherlands where they will be camping and training before their friendly match with the Netherlands national team at the end of the month.They will then move to Miami for more camping and training before another friendly with Korea, and then head off to Brazil on June 9 for the world cup soccer fiesta .

This event was attended by The Vice President, Amissah Attah, GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi, members of the blackstars, the blackstars management and more. Also present were celebrities and ambassadors for the world cup. Jackie Appiah who is one of the ambassadors of the world cup made an appearance in a stunning red gown, Azuma Nelson who is also an ambasaddor and not forgetting Elikem and his girlfriend Pokello. Becca who is also an ambassador did not fail to impress the patrons with a beautiful white gown with the colours of Ghana with an opening performance from her singing the national anthem. Efya also wowed the audience with her marvelous vocals. A vigorous dance routine was also performed at the ceremony.
The programme was a successful one and all attendants had big smiles on their faces as they left the venue after the curtains had been drawn. Goodluck to the blackstars on their journey. This time please bring the cup home.
