Will Overexaggerating Ever Stop In The Ghanaian Media!!!

I came across a story posted on one of the popular radio websites in Ghana and after reading the story I must say, I was very disapointed. The story was captioned "Joselyn Dumas No Panties Photoshoot". This story caught my attention and I immediately went ahead to read the story and see the supposed "No Panties" photoshot. I could not believe my eyes after seeing the pictures because the caption for the story was false and the writer of the story shouldn't have given the story that headline. It was out of line and it is my believe that the writer or the website can even be sued for this kind of false allegation if the actress decides to make it personal. This picture talked about is a photoshoot Joselyn Dumas did for Issue 20 of New African Woman Magazine a year ago.

 When you look at the picture closely, you would realize that she is wearing panties and not as this website claims. She is wearing a "High G-string Pant". It can be argued that the writer wanted his/her story to be read and used that caption but he/she could have headlined as "Joselyn Dumas Shows A Lot Of Skin In A Sexy Photoshoot", "Joselyn Dumas Takes A Fashion Risk In A Photoshoot" or a lot more that would get the attention of people rather than going out of line and twisting the actual thing in a different way. Joselyn Dumas is one of the popular and hottest celebrities in Ghana now and I don't think much effort has to be taken to get people to read about her. The woman herself can get the job done without anyone actually going out of the loop to turn the attention of people towards her. (she is hot). She's all over tabloids and the on going rumour now is that she is dating John Dumelo a fellow actor. It has not been proven by any of them though that this rumour is true.They just starred in a recent movie entitled "Love Or Something Like That" which was produced by Joselyn Dumas along side Shirley Frimpong Manso.

Fans of Joselyn Dumas have given missed feelings about this "No Panties Photoshoot Pictures". Some disagree with the dress she put on for the photoshoot and others see nothing wrong with it. I don't want to be misunderstood that I am either condoning or condeming the dress she put on for the photoshoot. In all, I'm just saying that journalists should find a more healthier and creative way in selling their stories instead of using false captions and lies and splashing false rumours about celebrities just to attract the attention of the audience. There is more to journalism than that and a stop must be put to it.
