RED CARPET 2014 BET AWARDS

There has been a post about who won what and who performed what but there hasn't been any about the mind blowing and racy fashion on the red carpet at this years BET AWARDS show. Some of the celebrities lived up to their game but well not all of them. It's nice though seeing some of our own familiar faces back home. You be the judge of what you think about the celebs and what they put on. Ashanti is my personal favourite though. Damn, the lady looks great. Now it's up to you to either agree with me or choose your personal favourite.

This year’s BET Awards took place last night at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles and it was a night of white dominant gown colour of choice.
Before the exciting performances and the announcement of the winners, the celebrities brought fashion to the red carpet.
Paris Hilton,33, made an appearance—lived up to her glamorous reputation in a sexy, dramatic number while rubbing elbows with equally chic.
Amber Rose wore a form-fitting dress with low-cut neckline and she was looking great.

2014 BET AWARDS IN IT'S GLITZ AND GLAMOUR

The Host of 2014 BET Awards, Chris Rock

If anyone knows how to get a crowd going, it’s Nicki Minaj! The rapper took the stage on June 29 at the 2014 BET Awards and completely wowed with a sexy performance of ‘Pills N Potions!’

Fans at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Cali. went crazy for Nicki Minaj — and we don’t blame them! Performing her new hit, “Pills N Potions,” Nicki looked sexier than ever, making her grand entrance on a motorcycle, and she sounded amazing! Nick Minaj came out on stage on a motorcycle looking hot, hot, hot! After being topless in the music video, it’s no surprise that Nicki looked super sexy when she performed “Pills N Potions” live at the BET Awards.

the Award show was hosted by Chris Rock whose monologue was a killer and he did a great job cracking up the audience. Beyonce picked up three awards but it was unfortunate that she and her hubby couldn't make an appearance at the show but made it up to the crowd by releasing a pre tapped performance of she and her husband performing their hit song "Partition". Chris Brown who was just released from jail performed his hit song "Loyal" and he had the whole crowd dancing along with him. Pharrell Williams opened the show with an energetic rendition of “Come Get It Bae” surrounded by a bevy of cheerleaders, and was joined by surprise performer and fellow Virginia native, the amazing Missy Elliott, who brought the crowd to their feet to “Pass That Dutch.”

Jennifer Hudson
showed off her incredibly powerful pipes during a performance of “Walk It Out” and debut of her new single “It’s Your World” as a disco roller derby swirled around her. One of today’s hottest rising stars, Jhené Aiko joined John Legend on stage for one of the most impressive performances of the evening.Celebrating the 20th anniversary of his first album, Usher performed an action-packed medley of his biggest hits, including “Yeah!”, “Confessions”, “Caught Up” and “Love In This Club”.

The show saw the appearance of a lot of known faces. Ghana's own Nadia Buari also made an appearance in a studying gown style with African prints. Too bad Sarkodie lost out to Davido but we still do love him and he is a great artist.
