I Can Also Sing, First Lady Says So

The controversial artiste Mildred Ashong known as Eazzyfirstlady has just announced to the world that she can sing. the artiste who is known for her rap songs and pop music just released an inspirational song tittled "Unknown" which was written by herself and produced by Genuis Selection. The song relates to God and the singer sings asking God "what it takes to hold on to be strong, in my life you are all i have,in my soul you are every thing i need". Eazzy is set to release her second studio album and this is one of the songs on the album. The song comes as a surprise though and it seems to take her onto another path since rap and pop music is what she does best. the song is a slow upbeat ballad that focuses on vocals.

Eazzy rose to fame when she came out with her first single "bo wu ns3m ma me" with it's accompanying video where the artiste was shot dancing vigorously to the song. that single made eazzy a household name in Ghana and I guess she inspired Tifanny to also come up with the same rap theme. There has been a lot of controversies around Eazzy beginning from her seperation with Lynx Entertainment who put her on the chart, big brother entry, her relationship with Reggie Rockstone's younger brother Keitta, her brazillian hair scandal, bleaching attacks and rumours and it goes on and on and on.

She has hosted the Vodafone Ghana Music awards two times in a role with KOD, she took part in the "Bring Our Girls Back" Promo and recently, she just joined the cast of Yvonne Nelson's self produced movie "Single, married and complicated" which is soon to be released to the general public. audience have given missed feelings about her acting debut and what to expect from her. I guess the movie release will tell us soon about her performance on whether it is a hit or miss. Just in this month too, she has released new promo pics for her brand. The lady has got a lot under her sleeves.

 Though Eazzy wants to prove that she can sing, I don't think she really did great on the vocals, don't get me wrong, the song is good. there is a lot of enhancements added to her voice to make it sound smooth and there are some notes where she goes flat and it get's to a point where it's really irritating to listen to her singing voice. Maybe she should get lessons from Efya, if that would do any good. Before releasing the song, Eazzy tweeted,  “the fact that I do pop music doesnt mean I dont have a close relationship with God. Yes I do !Every now and then we fall short of strength and most often we seem to not know what to do.God always makes a way”.  She tweeted, “in all things God first”.If Eazzy wants to prove that she has a good relationship with God, she can do that in soo many ways and spare us listening to her "fertilized voice". It's a good try though.
