Under the spotlight is a segment I am introducing and this is dedicated to upcoming artiste who want their names to be heard. There will be weekly updates of fresh artistes who will be given the chance to tell their story  and sell their products to the Ghanaian audience.

On today's bill, I introduce to you a young man with great potential and talent, I mean this guy has to be on the scene as at now, but I guess everything takes time. Now let's get down to serious business.
His name is Danquah David but he goes by the name "Gentia" as his stage name. David hails from Kwahu and he has three siblings with whom he grew up with. The smile on his face when his at the mention of his family depicts that he has nice memories of his family when he was growing up. He attended Wesley Grammar in Accra.

As a child, David's raw passion for music never soured, and as he grew up the fire kept burning and burning and pushing him more to do music. he had challenges getting people to listen to any ideas and tunes he had in mind. When asked if at a point in time he decided to give up, he stated that, "it got to a time where my body told me to forget this dream and move on to something else, but my mind wouldn't stop me and I held on to it". He got the attention of producers with his single "Rihanna Montanna". This song has the azonto/alkayida flair and it's a tune one can't help but dance to when played.

He has a high life song on the album entitled "Me Ne Woa" which is one of my personal favorites and it's yet to be released.
