4syte Teen's Choice Awards; Is This A Hit Or Miss

 

 4syte Tv through the years has proved to be one of the Best TV shows in Ghana. Since it's debut on TV it has gained nods from a lot of viewers in Ghana in relation to how they provide the best entertainment. From the camp of 4stye, celebrities like Jay Foley, Jeremie have emerged and since it's existence, 4stye TV has organized shows like Celebrity Birthday Bash, 4stye Easter Pool Party, 4styte Music Video Awards etc. 4syte Music Video Awards is a really great show and it was a fantastic idea from the camp of 4syte to create this platform since there was no platform that awarded music videos in Ghana. 

Now Music Video Awards is a thing from the foreign sector and it is a good try that 4stye TV emulated this and are doing the same here. Their latest attempt to walk in the line of the foregn land is their 4syte Teen Choice Awards (tcawardsgh) and this one has got me confused.

It is good to imitate what someone is doing if it is a good thing but before you go ahead to do that, you have to monitor certain things before you proceed. Now Teen Choice Awards in the foreign land is an award show that awards celebrities and the teens are the one's that make these choices. The Teens submit the nominees, they do the voting and this is why is it entitled "Teens" Choice Awards.

Now one would ask that in Ghana, how many things are allowed to use mobile phones not to talk of voting. How many of them can use the internet. How many of them have the resources to buy a huge amount of credit and rally behind the celebrity of their choice. Some of the teens don't even know the celebrities. Just a few musicians and that's all. How many Teens are going to be allowed to attend this show that will clearly end late in the night.

The categoreis for the nomination is also has a big question mark. Some of the nominees listed are unknown. Did the Ghanaian Teens make these choices or 4syte just chose who they wanted to be on the list. Are the Ghanaian Teen's going to vote. How many of the Ghanaians Teens are even aware that a Teen's Choice Awards Show has been held for them.Clearly the Teen Choice Awards is just attached to this show 4syte TV is organizing and the Teens are not even involved

It is my advice that, research should be done well before any production house decides to organize a show. A show shouldn't be organized just because we see a country doing the same. Everybody's culture is different. This Teen's choice awards is a miss and i think it should be cancelled. It's a good attempt though.

Watch: Retirement Community Recreates Pharrell Williams ‘Happy’ Video in New Zealand

There is a saying that old age makes one weak and inactive but the retirement community in New Zealand have proved that this saying is wrong.

Add one more to your list of “Happy” music video remakes. This latest one is extra sweet: It's  stars are residents of a retirement community in New Zealand. It is pretty amazing watching these old people dance along to the rhythm of the song and they show no signs of weakness, pain or fatigue.

Titled “80 Odd Years of Happy,” the remake of Pharrell’s megahit also includes appearances by staff, children and grandchildren of those who call the Diana Isaac Retirement Village in Christchurch home.

This just depicts that, with continuous exercise of the body by an individual, you won't be weak and helpless when you grow old so lets all get rolling and shake up our bodies so we can be as "happy" as this retirement community is.

REPORTS reaching BEATWAVES indicate that Kofi Okyere Darko, aka KOD, a radio personality, a fashion designer, a tv presenter and a host will soon end his six years of marriage with his loving wife, Ophelia Crossland.

KOD in the recent years has bombarded Ghanaians with his great sense of fashion and one can testify that his wardrobe choice alongside his talent has brought him thus far to where he is now.

According to the reports, KOD and Ophelia are having a real hard time trying to deal with their marital challenges, and the two are also at each other’s throat fighting over the custody of their two children.

Attempts to reach KOD have, however, proved futile.

The two during their six years’ marriage organized a number of fashion shows in the country are yet to finalise their divorce documents.

Over the weekend, the "Come Alive" singer was spotted making out with a new hunky model on the beaches of Malibu, Calif. Clad in a knitted monokini, Hilton wasn't shy about packing PDA with her new man, Ralph Lauren model Josh Upshaw. (And "new man" seems to be quite the understatement.)

Did John Dumelo Get To Touch Yvonne Nelson's Boobs?

Ghanaian actor John Dumelo, over the weekend, suddenly developed an appetite for the succulent breasts of actress Yvonne Nelson in the full glare of onlookers at the M-Plaza Hotel in Accra.

The two were at the hotel as part of guests at the launch of Chase Forever’s newest album.

It was not John’s first time doing such a thing, as he is known for cuddling ladies, both on the screens and in real life.

Early last year, Dumelo made the headlines after journalists published photos of him grabbing an unnamed lady’s buttocks at the National Theatre during the premiere of Yvonne Okoro’s ‘Contract’.

In the last few months, Dumelo and Yvonne Nelson have been all over the place on social media with their funny romantic videos, fuelling speculations that they had something amorous going on.

On Saturday, during a photo session, John tried to touch Yvonne’s breasts after the dress she was wearing gave a clear view of her chest and sides of her breasts.

He tried several times to touch it but she stopped him.

This will help you love her as a complete person, and she will appreciate that more than you can understand.

• One good way to start is by asking her opinion on religion or politics. This will not only give you the chance to get to know her better, but it will also show her that you think she's smart and her opinions are worthwhile.

8. Find out what she likes to do. Then do those things with her. Doing something that you know she likes has the added advantages that she feels comfortable and safe doing it. If she's comfortable when you're out on a date, she's more likely get close to you, hold your hand, or even kiss you.

• Whether she likes surfing, horseback riding, shopping, or baking, it's a good idea to try to involve her in what she likes doing best. Ask her friend what she enjoys doing in her free time, or ask her yourself if you're feeling brave. (Fortune favors you.) That way, she'll know that you've taken the time to find out what makes her tick, and that you're ready to go that extra mile to make sure she's happy.

  

9. Take her out on great dates. Bonding over something she likes doesn't need to be a date, but if you want love to blossom, you're going to have to ask her on a date at some point. When you're ready to take that step, try someplace familiar like the movies, a coffee shop, or a dance. Maybe try taking her to an amusement park or a haunted house; studies suggest that excitement or a sense of danger on a date helps release a chemical in the brain that bonds the two people together.

• Be strategic about whether you call it a "date." Generally, if you've already won the girl over, you want to make it clear that you're going on a date. That's because she expects you to take the next step, and she wants to make sure you're both on the same page. But if you haven't won the girl over yet, it's probably best to slow-play the courtship, and win her over as a friend before you move on to the romantic relationship. Sometimes, the girl will resist a romantic relationship if she's not sure about whether you're good friends.

10. Give her space. This doesn't mean playing hard-to-get, but give the girl control over what happens next. 11. Don't judge her. Don't judge any girl that you develop feelings for. They are their own person, with their own qualities just like you are. We all do things that drive other people crazy or seem weird. If she does stuff that you can't even try to understand, then she's just not the girl for you. Especially if you've tried really hard recently, or you think you've just run out of energy, don't be afraid to pull back from the fray. It sounds counter-intuitive, and it's frustrating to do, but it works: when you stop trying, girls tend to find you.
• Be adventurous for her. Maybe the girls you know all have boyfriends, or maybe they don't cut it for you. Plenty of guys these days are finding love outside of their immediate circles. If you're old enough, try internet dating. If you're interested in extracurriculars, get involved on a wider basis so that you could potentially travel. • Show genuine intentions. Be honest and open about your plans, wants and desires. If she is not OK with these, you have, at least, established a starting point which can then be adjusted in order that you come to know each other more closely.

Similarly, be open to her making you into the best person you can be. Committed love is a partnership, where you both bring out the best in each other. Hold yourself to that standard, as you get her to fall for you and beyond.

Nicki Minaj's Ass Is All Over Her New Single "Anaconda" Art Work

 As if the world hasn't had enough of Nicki Minaj and her racy body barring outifts and filthy lyrics, Nicki Minaj has done it again

A wise man once proclaimed to the ladies of the world, "My anaconda don't want none unless you got buns, hun!" Well, he clearly wasn't talking to Nicki Minaj. Nicki Minaj broke the internet this morning when she released the bootylicious artwork for her new single “Anaconda.” The Queen of the Barbz dished out two servings of her bare cheeks Wednesday when she unveiled the cover art to her next single, "Anaconda."

The Young Money rapper has been teasing a “surprise” for her Barbz on Twitter since yesterday, and I was expecting a new single, or a snippet of a new single, but somehow just the cover art for a new single managed to top an actual song.

Now, this isn’t the first time that we’ve seen Nicki in this rare squat position, but it just seems to get better every time. Though the song hasn't been released yet, the artwork is already making waves and with an artwork like this, my guess is the song is going to be explicit.

Next week is set to be a busy one for rapper Nicki Minaj. On Tuesday, she will feature on Jessie J’s new single, just one day after the release of her new single, Anaconda. For most pop stars, this would be preceded by the usual round of Instagram video teasers and smiley selfies with captions saying: “So excited, got something coming for you soon!!” But this is Nicki Minaj. And Minaj wouldn’t be Minaj without making a statement in the lead-up to Anaconda’s release.

Nicki Minaj became popular with her great talent and her courage to enter into the man's world and give them a run for their money. Apart from that, her outrageous banging body, her unusual choice of clothes and makeups put this artiste on the globe. Through the years, Nicki Minaj has transformed in the public eye and she has made headlines for a lot of issues. Nicki Minaj doesn't let her guard down when it comes to gaining attention and saying what she feels like saying. Her tunes are great too and so far her two released albums have been good.

A lot of fans are anticippating what her third yet to be released album will be made of. So far, songs from the yet to be released album like "Looking Ass Nigga" and "Pills and Potions" are receiving massive hits on radio. Pills and Potions topped the chart when it was released but the accompanying video was quite disappointing though it showed a different side of the rapper which she had never shown.

 Audience are yet to listen to "Anaconda" and get to tell if the song is as good as it's cover artwork. According to Minaj, the single will be featured on her upcoming album, The Pink Print, and made available July 28 on iTunes. However, the album itself does not have a release date as of yet.
