Forbes has just released its annual Celebrity 100 list and -- in a move that rocks the universe's foundation to its core and forces mankind to question its existence -- the Queen of All-Things Media is not sitting at the No. 1 spot. Hell, Oprah doesn't even medal if this were the Olympics.

Forbes is an American business magazine owned by Forbes, Inc. Published biweekly, it features original articles on finance, industry, investing, and marketing topics. The magazine is well known for its lists and rankings, including its lists of the richest Americans (the Forbes 400) and rankings of world's top companies (the Forbes Global 2000), Celebrity 100 list and more.

So, who took down one of the world's most beloved icons?

Yes Beyonce is the most powerful and richest celebrity in 2014 according to Forbes.

The singer's massive year is in due part to her highly-successful Mrs. Carter World Tour. According to Pollstar, Queen B -- because we can officially call her that now -- played a total of 95 shows, bringing in an average of $2.4 million per stop. Her first single off her surprise album, "Drunk in Love," also sold more than a million copies.
