It's another week and a time dedicated to another talented individual.
"Give me the sticks and I will deliver". This is the slogan of Cosmos Mensah who hails from Asante Bekwai in the Eastern Region. He is a 22 years old gentleman whose amazing skills on the drums is a force to reckon with. Someone would say, anyone could learn how to drum and yeah anyone could but without the skills you wouldn't sound as good as someone with a raw talent in drumming.

Sitting down having a chat with him, all Cosmos did was smile and answer all the questions graciously. His parents were always perturbed by his noisy strokes he never failed to met out to any appliance he found in the room. he would either use his hands or a stick or anything that got in his way and tap on any equipment he found at home. Well that has paid of today. Today he can boast of catering for himself without bugging his parents for revenue.

He has got three siblings and he happens to be the last born. Cosmos attended Christ Ebenezer Preparatory School and went ahead to further his education at Akim State College. He played drums while he was in highschool and did a great job at that.
His passion and zeal for music led him to join a band after highschool named Line - Out Family. Since he joined the band, they have played at Chaya, Nubuke, Best Western Premier Hotel, Aliance Francais and the list goes on and on. They also play at wedding ceremonies, outdooring, funerals etc. He has been in this band for one and a half year and he has no regrets becoming a member of the band. Cosmos stated; "It has been a great opportunity and an interesting journey for me since i became a member of this group".
Cosmos looks up to Francis Kwaku Osei who is a renowed Drummer and he inspires him a lot. He wants to be a sound engineer and drummer in the future and I bet you, he is going to be wonderful. He is a fun loving, jovial type and he spends most of his time with the band rehearsing or playing a gig. He loves to hangout with his band mates too. He stated that just like the name of their band suggests, they are a family and they help eachother when there are any hitches in their lives.

Cosmos sees himself to be all over the world in the next five years and I couldn't help but smile at his statement. He is a free bird and he wants to explore and experience everything life has to offer (not the bad ones though).
Cosmos is a Christian and he plays the drums in his church.

It is a beautiful sight seeing Cosmos whiles playing. His body gestures and movements tells one that he loves what he does and he enjoys doing it. He has got a great sense of fashion too. Talk about talent together with impeccable fashion, now that's tasty.
Watch out Ghana, for there is a huge music engineer coming your way.
If you want to see him do his thing email me and you might to be lucky to see this magic unfold right infront of your eyes and trust me, you wouldn't be able to forget.
